Cars from MT's Private Car Collection ready for export

Export

Three markets. One catalog.

MT's Private Car Collection is written for buyers who need the import path in plain English. United States first, then Japan, then Europe. Not a translation pass later.

01

United States

Primary market. USD conversion, miles, DOT/EPA notes on every listing.

  • Form HS-7 at CBP
  • EPA 3520-1 when required
  • 25-year exemption or U.S.-spec, or an RI

02

Japan

JDM and export-grade stock. RHD specialists welcome.

  • JEVIC-style inspection pack
  • Drive side stated on every car
  • Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka

03

Europe

LHD European metal and IVA/COC guidance for private buyers.

  • COC when the car is type-approved
  • IVA / national approval otherwise
  • Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg, Southampton

Questions we actually get

Can I import a Japanese car into the United States?
Yes, if it is at least 25 years old from the month of manufacture (HS-7 Box 1), or if a NHTSA Registered Importer can conform a newer eligible model. U.S.-spec cars skip that path.
Do you handle customs and titles?
We supply origin documents, inspection, and shipping to the port you name. Customs entry, HS-7, EPA 3520-1, and state or prefecture title stay with you or your broker.
What currency do you price in?
USD. Japanese yen and euro figures on listings are indicative conversions, not a second asking price.
Do you ship to Japan and Europe?
Yes. Japan is the second market, Europe the third. Drive side, origin, and approval path are on every listing so you can see the fit before you write.

Summaries, not counsel. Read NHTSA importing a vehicle and CBP importing a motor vehicle before you book a ship.
